    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) gives active service members two options for housing; living on base or finding a home off-base within the community.

    • Once you have orders to move, contact The Housing Management Office (310) 653-8469. They will provide you with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance.

    Los Angeles AFB On Base Housing 

    • The Unaccompanied Housing (310) 653-8469 is reserved for airmen with less than 3 years of service, within the ranks of E1-E4.

    • Los Angeles AFB on-base housing is privatized and operated by Winn Company: Tierra Vista Communities (888) 658-4630, which offers 6 communities of 2-4 bedroom apartments based on rank and family size. The community amenities include: 2 dog parks, 18 playgrounds and access to Fort Mac-Arthur Swimming Pool.

    About Los Angeles AFB 
    Los Angeles Air Force Base is home to the Space and Missile Systems Center which manages research and development for the military space systems. LAAFB's main unit is the 61st Air Base Wing. It launched the first space-based Space Surveillance aircraft in 2010. LAAFB is in Los Angeles County, but not Los Angeles city, just south of LA International Airport. For more information click here
